Studio B

Small yet airy, this room has been home  to countless professional recording projects. Country music superstar, Randy Travis, has booked this room to track final vocals after the Nashville pros have completed their magic. Guitar wiz, Tim Reynolds, moved into Studio B when Studio A was unavailable. His intention was to overdubb electric and acoustic guitar tracks for his solo project. He liked the space so much that he decided to finish his entire project here.

Studio B has been the creative laboratory for countless Hip Hop producer/engineer/artists who lay-down and dial-in furious beats laced with machine gun lyrical flow.

Studio B Control Room

Keeping in step with the overall design of Stepbridge Studios, Studio B’s skylighted control room is a creative haven. The focal point of this 14' by 16' space is a Digidesign Control/24 console featuring a Pro Tools TDM Mix III recording system. Our Mix III system is equipped with a variety of professional grade plug-ins and software synthesizers. For monitoring, selectable Genelec 1031A and Yamaha NS-10m monitors are mated with Hafler Trans-Nova amplifiers. Out board gear includes Neve preamps as well as Roland and Alesis DSP.

Studio B Tracking Room

The Studio B tracking room is fully 11' by 12' by 12’ and offers the creative artist a comfortable, intimate atmosphere. This private setting can be flooded with daylight or darkened with diffusers thus allowing the artist to playfully direct the mood of the session.

The ceiling vigas are perfect for hanging tapestries and rugs which further tailor and shape the desired acoustical recording space. A Kilim rug covering the carpeted floor is alive with soothing, yet intricate patterns that further set a furtile mood for creativity.

A solid windowed door secures this soundproof environment for a perfect recording while allowing constant visual communication with your session engineer.
